Well I finally did it. I purchased my first Omega. I picked up a used Seamaster Pro and it arrived today. The watch was listed as "like new" condition and I'm tellin' ya' it could pass for new. It is absolutley beautiful. The electric blue dial really pops. It came with all the original packaging and the links that were removed. I had my jeweler put one link back in and I've been wearin' it ll day Can't seem to get this grin off my face either :DHere's a couple quick & dirty shots. What are the tools of the Jedi?
Hi GangIf I wanted to train to be a "jedi" (like Jocke or JBH), and be able to do things like: open an oyster case, remove and swap bezels, scrutinise up close and appraise, take pictures of the movement inside, etc etc....What basic watch tools would I need?Right now, I have none, but have discovered a shop that actually sells all this "lightsabre stuff" (schzoom..schzoom...sound of lightsabre swing).Can any jedi out there recommend the basic watch tool kit to me?BTW...I intend to practice on an old seiko first.
