Hey guys!This has been several years in the making, but it is now a reality!"Elgin Trench Watches of the Great War" has been printed ! ! ! !My publisher just had the very first copy that was printed Fed Ex'ed to me two days ago.Tiffany and I were blown away with the finished product, Schiffer Publishing did a excellent job with the layout, graphic design, artwork and everything else.The bulk of the first run of books is currently in transit, on the Pacific Ocean on a container ship.We are hoping that they will be arriving within the next month (give or take).I know that many of you have already bought an advance copy from my web page (thank you for that!), soon as they arrive to me they will be signed and shipped out ASAP.Here is a little sneak peek of the book!Tiffany snapped this shot shortly after the book arrived, me sitting down by the fire reading the very first copy that was printed.("Waltham Trench Watches of the Great War" is well underway, should be available in 2016!)

Breitling tang buckle differences?!?!
I am hoping someone can shed some light on this. I have three of the newer style tang buckles...all 20mm..that are all slightly different. The first is polished, has a raised wings logo and has A20BA.1 engraved on the underside.The second is polished, has a raised wings logo...although it doesn't appear to be quite as crisp as the one mentioned above and no alpha-numerical code engraved on the underside.The third is brushed, has a raised wings logo and no alpha-numerical code engraved on the underside.Are these differences due to year of production, model of watch or strap it came on or due to something else entirely? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Santa left me a Speedy!!!!!
First off, Merry Christmas to everyone. I have to share some early morning shots of my new Speedy, another great Christmas in my house. The kids were up a 4 am making all kinds of noise downstairs, so my wife and I ended up just getting up at 4:30. I have to say that I was a little excited myself, because I was really hoping that Santa would leave my a new Speedy for me to enjoy, well he did and here are some pics.
