IWC IW356809 wrist watches news:
Swiss watch brand Maurice Lacroix revealed that Martin Bachmann, 46, will assume the post of Chief Executive, entered into force November 1, 2008. Bachmann will take the position held by outgoing Maurice Lacroix CEO Philippe c. Merk, who, in the recent news, was appointed to be the CEO of Audemars Piguet. While SIHH 2016 is certainly the main topic in the watch world right now, it is not the only game in town when it comes to watch announcements this week. F.P. Journe has announced an update of their Octa Divine watch. You may recall that earlier this year F.P. Journe released a box set to commemorate the end of their production of 38 mm watches. In tandem with dropping the 38 mm size, Journe is also doing a piece-by-piece redesign of the collection. The thought with the redesign is that the old version will be discontinued, and the new version of the watch will available in 40 mm and 42 mm sizes. In order to do this, the dial needs to be redesigned because it wouldn’t look right to simply put the same dial in a larger case. Last year the Octa Lune was redesigned, and this year it's time for a redesign of the Lune’s sister watch, the Octa Divine. 1 OF 1 The new Octa Divine is generally a larger version of the old Divine with a few tweaks. It ha

Hello all,I've been really giving some thought to buying the Speedmaster Co-Axial Date - ref: 311.30.44.50.01.002 for several months. I bought my Moonwatch last January on vacation and find myself wearing it at least 4 days a week, if not more. My Daytona is down to about twice a month, after being my daily tool watch for almost 14 years. Dial legibility is the #1 reason for this decision - the Rolex is fine in the daytime, but after dark it is just about useless. Too much sparkle under dim light. I use the chrono function more than once a week. #2 on my rotation frequency is my GMT-C. Bold, solid, accurate, legible; excellent travel watch - and has a date function. The Glidelock clasp with the folding half-link is a wonderful feature that I use frequently. Rotating bezel works as a crude timer in some situations. Did I mention it has a date? So, down to my dilemma -I took both these watches with me to the Torneau/Omega shop yesterday and they had the Co-Axial in the display case. I'm o
Hey guys, Just wanted to share my favorite 24/24 strap with you .. Made out of British Tan leather by the loose cannon of the strap world .. Shane Delaurian. It actually takes a little bit of convincing to get him to make a not-so-unusual strap and he did agree to make me one for my now-departed 243 late last year. I, unfortunately, sold my 243 just after this one arrived and it has since waited to for an appropriate match. The wait ended tonight ... I recently sold all my 24/24 straps and this is only one that survived. Quite Deservingly so IMHO.The texture on this strap is the very best I have ever laid my eyes one. The thickness is just right and the finishing on the edges and holes is something I have not seen before. The underside of the strap is lined by some fine leather as well [dont know which kind .. pics attached] and to make the strap unique in a Delaurian way, the keepers are integrated. After strapping on this strap on the new-to-me Ennebi, I realized that I do really nee
