Frederique Constant Classic Moonphase Review
When Frederique Constant released the Classic Moonphase a few months ago, it seemed to turn a lot of heads. Staying true to the brand's philosophy of creating accessible luxury timepieces, the watch boasted a new in-house caliber (more of a variation, to be picky) and a decidedly Patek-y look for a relatively low price point. Coming in just below $4k, the watch offered a lot of value for an in-house movement, and an aesthetic that often costs an arm and a leg to obtain. It also showed off an eye-catching flip-open case back, which gave it some unexpected panache.The last time we reviewed an FC it was the spiritual cousin of this watch, the Slimline Moonphase, which used a similar movement, and achieved high points for style and finish. While the watch was a winner, one of the complaints a lot of people had about it was the 42mm diameter. Can some please help identify this watch?
This a watch that was given to me by my father, my mom bought it for him shortly after they were married in 1959,All I know about it is what he tells me, He said it was called a "Diamond Jim Brady" but I cannot find any info on this watch anywhere.I know it's 14k white gold, has a black silk strap with suede, its looks like a Tuxedo, but this has larger diamonds, and this one has diamonds on the dial,any help would be appreciated,myhamilton.jpgmyhamilton1.jpg

Although Mrs. Rusty loves boats, this one would be a stretch, a very big stretch.The Riva history started when Pietro Riva took up a formidable challenge to repair two storm-damaged fishing boats. Later, Riva, already famous for his exceptional carpentry skills, was specially committed to build a new boat by a wealthy client. Im sorry if this quest has been posted before, but im really curious as what is the current biggest diameter (i don't know, sometimes they measure the dial only , sometimes they measure till the outer bezel .. which ever :D) of the watch that our members have or have seen so far.. ? would appreciate for pictures I have my friend's nephew which is huge and has a very big wristsand he wears 34mm Gold Rolex watch ( auuuchhh :) so Im thinking of suggesting him some nice big watch to got with him ...Many thanks for your opinion best wishesPete J
