Invicta 12522 wrist watches news:
Hey guys,Long time listener and I am happy to say I bought my first Omega last night. I have a few concerns / Questions. I picked up a black seamaster 300m automatic Chrono. The first question I had after reviewing the book and the reference cards was the Calibre number. Mine has #1164. I am not sure what this is. Does it let you know something about the watch? does every watch have a different number? I also have a Ref number (21330424001001) and a Watch number (84793434) listed. The pictogram with the Calibre number also states the watch is good for 30 bars, but the watch itself says 300M / 1000FT which is 300 bars. Did I receive the wrong cards with the watch? Any help for my novice questions would greatly be appreciated. Also, upon opening the red box at home i noticed a lot of the red coating was peeling away from it. Should this be a concern? I am not planning on selling it anytime soon, but i have heard people like the box to be in good condition. I figure buying an expensi
Read this BaselWorld 2010 press release from Bulova:bulova/dynamic_reposi...ECISIONIST.pdfFor fans of high end quartz (HEQ) this could well be the news of the year. High accuracy quartz (Less than 10 secs per year), smooth sweeping seconds hand all for well below USD $1,000?I am loving this idea already!Seems to me ever since Citizen's purchase of Bulova they will be poised to retake some lost market ground and offer truly interesting pieces in years to come.If this watch looks right, I may well go for one and forgo the Citizen Chronomaster all together!.Discuss.
I've got this and thisbut have thoroughly enjoyed wearing this junker the last couple of days. Anybody else enjoy a junker once in while ?
My regular AD (where I purchase my watches) recently stopped selling Omega and I saw that a new Omega boutique opened recently near it.Today I went in and I was like a kid in a candy store, I WANTED EVERYTHING! It's nice to see pretty much all the models in the same place, on the flip side they only give 5% discounts or so they say.Right across the street there's a jewelry shop that is an Omega AD and trying to get the guy to offer a bigger discount I asked him if he didn't loose to many sales to the other store since they offered much better discounts. He told me that was the reason my regular AD is not selling Omega anymore and that the store across the street is not receiving any new product and is just selling what they have left. Apparently Omega is trying to control discounting and is going the company-owned boutique route.I tried on this watch and loved it:A Chopard Mille Miglia has always been on my list but I think this one just kicked it out and replaced it.It's an incredible
Hello AllI am looking to buy a 5196r for my father as gift in the near future. I have spent some time trying it on at the local AD and have decided its the right watch. My question is, is where can i can a brand new one without any issues but not from an AD, so i can save 3-6000$ in taxes. I am in Southern Cal. I see all these online sites like prestigetime and jomasshop, luxury bazaar etc. Are they safe. They all seem to be around for many yrs, and say all the right things on the website in regards to authenticity etc. any advice appreciated, thanks
