It seems that every time a rare watch sells on the swamp others of the same, pop-up, (Flight1),I have seen, you long time collectors say, that another 1 will always come along:, but I still want 1(now) I hope I just made sense
It's time for a new rotation for me. I made it through the last rotation and only one watch broke on me. I've also put a few away waiting for service which shortens the rotation a bit. I don't have a rigid schedule so I think I'll start with the Norfolk this time. Cracked crystal has already been replaced and it looks better than ever. Here's what it used to look like.
Hello all,I was hoping someone could provide me with some info on this chronograph I purchased this weekend at a flea market. It¡¯s a Heuer 30 minute chronograph. It works great (I tested the accuracy against my iPhone stopwatch). I am assuming it is from the early '70s (before Tag bought Heuer). The casing seems like a very sturdy plastic and the crystal seems acrylic.Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated. I purchased the product for $20 (no box, no papers). Thanks!
The friend that got me into Rolexes touted the absolute perfection of the product. Now, years hence, I have generally had good experiences with all my watches. Today, I discovered on my new SubC that the Rolex stamp on the inside of the clasp is very obviously heavy on one side of the logo and light on the other half. What have your experiences been with quality control?
