Breguet 5177ba/12/9v6 wrist watches news:
The STOLAS Tsunami Auction to benefit those effected and victims of the recent Tsunami and Earthquake that hit Japan.Although this is not a Japanese watch, I felt it important to post here for those who enjoy the Japanese culture. An ability to help those victims in need from the Tsunami and Earthquake that still to this day has long to recover.Up for bid is a 1-of-a-kind Gennaker Tsunami featuring an ETA 2824-2 movement, Sapphire Case Back, special Tsunami & Earthquake inspired logo dial and red lightning second hand. The watch is attached by a great high quality rubber strap as well as a Red/Black Zulu harness.Standard features of the Tsunami are followed in the Gennaker? model featuring our MLC? (Midnight Luminary Composite) lume material applied to the bezel for complete reference at all hours day & night. The carbon fiber dial lights up to "retina damaging brightness" with the super high-grade lume particles embedded in the hour markers, numbers, and hands! The case is bu
As some of you guys know, I work for an AD in VA and NC. Just wanted to let you know that I just got the new Breitling Chrono Superocean Heritage. I know a lot of people have been interested in this watch from Basel '08. There is no name on it right now.Looks just like it but on the Ocean Racer blue rubber strap. The picture is also missing push pieces (got it from japanese Breitling site)I'll try posting things like this when and if we get something 'exciting' in. Don't worry, we also carry Rolex, Cartier, Tag, Patek, Panerai, Jaeger, there will be some of that too. PM me with any questions. ThanksK
Does anyone own a 5296r and if so, what are your thoughts on the watch vs. the 5196r. Pictures also appreciated. Thank you
Hi, :)Just a quick question: Those of you with smaller wrists (my wrists are about 16.5 cm/6.5 inches, they're also flat), does the Sub ceramic fit you well? How does the clasp look on you? I'm afraid that with such small wrists the bracelet might consist more of a (huge) clasp than links, as the Glidelock clasp is larger compared to the Easylink one. Also, do you guys find it easy to slip under a shirt cuff? The salesman at an AD told me that the Sub looked to large, hence he recommended the GMT. Although one of his colleagues told me that the Sub fit me just as well as the GMT.
I've been a watch aficionado for years and started collecting them seriously about 10 years ago. I had a limited budget, so the richest thing I had in my collection was a 1966 Speedmaster Pro 105.012, which I've loved for years as my favorite watch. When I bought my Speedy it was still within my budget, but a bit of a stretch, at a whopping $2500. Now that it has appreciated in value 3-4x what I paid, I decided to pass it along to the next person who will value it. And I figured it would be a momentous occasion to use the proceeds for my first Rolex! So, I purchased a Datejust 36mm silver, stick dial from Alan Furman Jewelers and it just showed up today. While I'll miss the Speedy, and know it will be worth far more in the future than my new Rolex, I'm happy to have owned it and am satisfied it will bring some other collector some joy.And I'm so excited to own my first new Rolex!
