Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 44064 wrist watches news:
Hello to the new faces and the old faces.Did I miss anything? Ah yes, I remember: casebacks! Personally I think that the Speedy Pro back (especially the Japanese one celebrating some Manga show) has got to be overrated when compared to some of the classics! Anyone care to give photographic proof that they have the finest Omega caseback (or bit of caseback)?
..I must admit, I am a gadget nut ;)...While I resisted the $599 price tag yearago for iPhone, I just couldn't say "NO" anymore to the improved 3G version for $199 that launched this morning at 8............and I did something that was VERY uncharacteristic for me - I woke up at 5:30 AM :eek:and waited in line to get one. (Granted - I had a beach chair and a stack of watchmagazines, so it was not so bad :D ) I was lucky...they ran out of all phones 3 guys after me .....How about you, guys? Do we have any gadget freaks here? I BET we do...LOL :D :D

For those with APs equipped with the venerable 3120 (which I'm considering)....I read that it beats at 21,600 bph. If you're on this forum, I presume you have at least one Rolex with a 3135 that's clicking away at 28,800 bph. I presume the less smooth movement of the second hand doesn't bother you, but everything I read suggests higher beat rate is required for greater accuracy. What has been your experience with +/- per 24 hrs? If it's in the 10-15 seconds range, is that considered an acceptable characteristic of this calibre (I realize it is not a certified chronometer)?I'm drawn to the AP, but owning only Rolex and Omega, all within +/- 3 seconds per day, I want to set my expectations appropriately.
