Rado R13335172 wrist watches news:
I recently was given a very nice old Hamilton men's watch that is in good condition and is running perfectly. I've worn it a few times and have really enjoyed its looks, the way feels, and how accurately it works. I'd like to learn more about it and hope some of the experts on this forum could help identify the model and its probable age. The back of the watch is marked "HAMILTON" and "18KGOLDFILLED".The band, that may not be original as it shows almost no wear, is imprinted with "Speidel U.S.A". Thanks for any help you could provide. My Seamaster GMT Co-Axial (cal:2628) doesn't appear to auto wind. It winds OK by hand and keeps accurate time but will not maintain power on the watchwinder or by wearing. Just stops when power reserve is low(after stopping and starting for a while). It's around 3 years old. Looks like it will need to go to the service centre. I was wondering though if it only requires a normal service or if there is something more wrong. Appreciate any comments.
Hi Everyone, it's my first Patek post in this forum.I was looking to get an everyday use Patek that doesn't stand out too much so thought a steel Nautilus would be best. And sort of settled on a 5726/1A with the steel bracelet because I thought the Annual Calendar function would be useful. I am in two minds about the grey or white dial.. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help...Cheers
Hi, I just joined the forum. I have had a Patek 5036 WG since new in 1999. Love the watch and wear it often. I'd like to get my wife a 4936 Annual calendar. My question is, how durable are these watches? My wife is not particularly careful. She wears a Rolex now, and even golfs with it. I know she should not play golf with this Patek. But is this watch too delicate for daily wear in someone who may be careless? She is also looking at a new Rolex which is probably more durable for her. Any thoughts? Thanks
With all the talk about Rolex SS model shortage's, I wonder what is the percentage of all SS watches sold by Rolex in comparison to all other metals and combination of metals combined? My guess would be about 40%.
