Oris 734-7591-4051MB wrist watches news:
Here it is people. This is a major new introduction from Piaget, and it is really impressive stuff. Piaget is known for making the thinnest complicated watches in the world. Actually, they also happen to make the thinnest mechanical watch in the world, period. Today, they add a major introduction to their revered Altiplano line with a new in-house, ultra-thin flyback chronograph. This is the real deal. 2 OF 9 This 41 mm chronograph features the new Piaget caliber 883P, the thinnest hand-wound flyback chronograph ever made. The depth of the whole movement is just 4.65 mm thick, with a power reserve of 50 hours and 3Hz beat rate. But just because it's thin doesn't mean Piaget skimped out on anything – as I mentioned it's a flyback, with vertical clutch and column-wheel. 3 OF 9 This impressive new caliber is finished with circular Co?tes de Gene?ve, a circular-grained mainplate, lovely bevelled bridges, and engraved mainplate with the Piaget
I have a Seiko SKX173 that I love the look and size of. It seems to be a perfect fit for my wrist and my lifestyle. The only issue that I have come across is that I am not sure that I am supposed to tell time with it. The thing gains a minute a day. In a week, I am early to everything. I am about to throw it out the window. Any ideas on what I can do before I go postal on it?B
You know you have lost your mind when you start buying things from the FACTORY that made your watches.I just purchased what was described as the Glass from the DOOR of the Engraving department of the Illinois Watch Factory!Farrell Gay purchased the Factory many years ago and the owner of thispiece must have gotten this from him after that. She told me that Farrellknew of this piece and it was indeed the real deal!Imagine the feeling knowing that this huge piece was going to be shipped half way across the country and had to get here in ONE pieceit is Glass and very HEAVY to say the least!Wellit MADE it!!! I payed the seller a boatload for extra special shipping, but it was worth it!That is an apple at the bottom for size comparison. What I am guessing it is may have hung above a door for airThere are hinges at the bottom and a chain to pull it.Interestingly enough, I have a door Handle from the factory and it is porcelain...Now All I need is the door itself!Pretty Neat...
Just bought this from a Maplin Electronic shop as I was fed up of my collection strewn about the house and the fact that the expensive wood ones didn't hold nearly enough!!Please excuse mo dodgy Q&D photos. It was advertised as a Mini Flight Case.Well, I am extremely impressed with it! It has little squares of foam that you can push out to the specified size to fit a watch in and then the foam goes into the watch between the watch and the bracelet/strap.And a bargain at just ¡ê20. It houses most of my day to day collection, but it only holds about half of the total, so will probably need to invest in another at some point. :D CheersMark
I was feeling a little bored today and I thought the best way I could put my time to use would take some pictures of my ever growing collection for your viewing enjoyment. I have a few others, one of particular enjoyment that is in my friend Jesse's (Omega 564) shop getting an overhaul. So without further ado, my collection for your enjoyment. My how it has grown in the year I've known you all. Thank you all so much for your help, guidance, and constant comments that keep me coming back each and every day.Maurice Lacroix - Jours RetrogradeBreitling - Colt NavimeterGevril GV2 - Limited Edition TonneauGevril GV2 - Stadium Dive WatchBoschett - Reef RangerGruen - 1960's AlarmHere is my favorite part of the collection Waltham - 1970's DiveOrient - Multi EyesTo the respect of Barry and Bill:Gruen - SpiderBenrusBenrus - Three StarBenrus - Rose GoldCitizen - StilettoCitizen - Calibre 8700So in less than 1 year, I went from this:to THIS!
