A little help please with my Illinois
Hello everyone. I might be in the wrong forum since my watch dial says Swiss. I just impulsed purchase this watch and I was hoping to get some feedback, good or bad. Someone mentioned that this could be anything from a redial to a fake and that I might get a more accurate answer to what I have here. I like wearing my current collection but I needed something with less value and sentiment when I work or play outside. I know the Illinois pocket watches are sought but I don't hear anything about the wristwatch except they were made by Hamilton. I still have to take it to my watch maker for repair. Crown fell off when I tried to wind it. Hope that's all it needs but I doubt it. Hopefully its not a fake but fortunately, I got this fairly cheap. Need a Steel Band for my PO
Hi all, I've been posting in the Rolex area but have started to wear my 45mm PO again. It has a rubber strap but now I am thinking of getting the factory metal bracelet. Does anyone know of an AD or reputable dealer that I can get one from at a more reasonable price? Last I checked it was about $500 from a local AD so I didn't bite.Thank you.

About a year ago, I had my SMP serviced. Since then it has been more accurate than either Rolex.Unfortunately I haven't worn it as much since joining the Rolex owner ranks, but I became nostalgic a few weeks ago after someone posted a thread about his 36mm SMP. I'm not a huge regulation guy, but last Thursday, I set my watch to time.gov and today (5 days later), my watch was less than 3 seconds fast!I'd say that's pretty good!
