Gucci G-Timeless Sport Watch
Shouldn't the name of this watch be the Gucci "G-Time" versus "G-Timeless?" I mean of course I get what "timeless" means, but is that really a term you want as the name of a product that should not be "less time?" Perhaps I am thinking about it too much, but I really do feel that this little "minor" detail does matter when it comes to subconscious consumer perceptions about products. It isn't even timeless either. This dive-style watch looks to be squarely set in circa 1995 with its bold primary colors. Oh, you have got to love the Italians (and their flag). As much as I joke about it, I still do quite like this timepiece as a fashion watch. It is just sorta 'fun.'Gucci is watch maker I don't really discuss all that often. First of all, they don't make complicated watches. Off the top of my head I can't even think of a mechanical Gucci watch. Though they do have some which have that "G" as the bezel. Ceramic Diver pic request + other questions
I am in the market for a used Ceramic Diver and previously posted a question about the relative comfort of the Ceramic vs SS Diver. I owned a SS Diver an liked it a lot but never loved it, however I am convinced I will love the Ceramic version It would really be helpful to see some side-by-side pics of the Ceramic and SS Divers, on or off the wrist. Can anyone help me by posting some?A few other questions.Is it true that the Ceramic Diver was only sold through AP boutiques and not ADs?Will the ROO Rubberclad tapered strap and buckle fit the Diver case and plots?I know there is no right answer to this but ... does anyone think a Diver is too much watch or too out of place as a daily watch in a business casual (i.e. no suit) environment? I love the watch but sometimes wonder if wearing a hulking block of SS or Ceramic that is designed for deep ocean exploration day to day at a desk and around the house is a bit of a poseur move¡­.like driving a Zonda in downtown London (although I wish I

Considering a different AP
I would really appreciate some input from the AP experts on here. I currently have a steel diver in my collection (picture below), but it has not really been a great piece for me. It's my first and only AP. I don't want to give up on AP, so I am considering a Safari (26470), Ceramic Diver (15707), or Ceramic 44mm (26400).The challenge is that I have a 6.5 wrist and the diver feels a little top heavy. I have considered moving to the smaller strap size, and may do that with my next piece.For those that perhaps started with a diver, did any of the above provide you with a better AP experience? I am leaning towards the Safari, and would value any thoughts you may have.Thank you!

Gents, pls help make my choice easier...
Hi gents, am now in the final stages of joining the AP club and after reading through what this brilliant forum has to offer, have finally narrowed down to 2 choices. My wrist is about 6.75' and have a couple of wrist shots to show. Was also thinking of the RG ROC in black face as well. The white face I felt was a little mature for me though.. Current Seamaster Variations?
I spent the past few hours going through an eBay search of Omega Seamaster and noticed a few things. FYI - My search was mostly focused on the blue faced, blue bezel current (?) offering.Quartz vs. automatic and full-size vs. mid-size, non vintage. Oh, and many folks tout their offerings as a Bond model.Is there no love for the quartz models? I know that they are cheaper, $1700 vs. $2500, but are they that inferior?I also saw a few that were listed as mid-size, I believe 36mm vs. 41mm. I didn't really take note, but are they quartz as well?Lastly, I saw a bunch touted as Bond watches. Only a few actually had the 007 back and/or hands. What truly constitutes a Bond watch?Thanks,Tim
