Just got back several watches from the watch doctor. Thought it be interesting to show the "before" and "after" photos. They came out better then I expected. Hamilton Reagan Ca. 1937 (before)(after)Hamilton Russell Ca. 1957(before)(after)Mark
Hi all,I was hoping someone here might be able to help me locate a few replacement parts for an old Seiko 150m quartz divers watch I have. I believe the caliber is 7548-7000.I wore this watch while I was in the army some 20+ years ago, so it has lots of nicks, scratches and dents, but has a great deal of sentimental value. I'd like to get it running again, but when I opened up the case back, I found the battery retaining strap was bent, and was missing one of the two screws that hold it in place. It probably needs a new case back gasket as well.Aside from sending it in for repair, would anyone know where I might be able to locate the parts so I could swap them out myself? Thanks very much in advance!:):)Best regards,Geoff
Today at the Orchard district of Singapore. First impression was that it was the Daymatic tucked in the display case on the wall. Edmond asked if anything in the cabinet interested me and what I wanted to see up close. I pointed to the wall behind him and he said "Oh the 31 day."From then on I was jaw dropped. Never seeing one in the flesh or handling one. This is one monstrous piece of watch! I think I'm going to have to realistically look at a Richard Lange platinum of a Daymatic instead. I'll let the pictures tell the story and you'll figure out this watch is more than my puny wrists can support. Cheers from Singapore! Hong Kong watch hunting tomorrow.
