Accuracy of my PO
I set my PO to gov't time and checked it a few days later, it was + 2 seconds, 7 days after setting it was spot on (April 1) now on April 5 it is +10 seconds from the original setting. I am assuming the watch gains or loses depending whether it is on my wrist or the winder. It is worn everyother day in rotation with my Sub. Also, the PO was purchased on March 5, so it is one month old today, so it may settle in, although I am very well pleased with its accuracy as is.

My First Watch.. I need advice. Limited Budget
To begin, I have always admired anything mechanical. While I am not mechanically inclined, I have always enjoyed the artwork and the craftsmanship of things like buildings, motorcycles, everything. There as always been something that made watches appealing to me. I remember when I was 12 I wanted a clear watch so I could see the movement and it was different than all of the other watches my peers had.Fast forward twenty years and now I am back into looking for watches. I know the world of watches is so large, I have no idea where to begin. I know select brand names, but I want something that I am not likely to see. I am a teacher so I need a watch that has clean lines and a parent is not going to look at me and think I am over paid. I have a budget of $700-$800. I have had a recommendation of Lum Tec, and their watches are very beautiful. Furthermore, I am very excited to know that the owners are present and visible on chat forums. That means a lot to me. Leaving the crown unscrewed
Whenever I see a post about water getting into a watch I always see people asking about the crown and whether or not is was screwed on and it has me thinking...How common is it to not screw the crown in? I always have mine screwed on. When I unscrew it to set I always immediately screw it back on. Does anyone not do this? Are the cases of not having the crown screwed on because it is common to leave it unscrewed unless it is needed (e.g. to swim) in order to save wear and tear? Or do some people somehow forget to screw in the crown after setting the watch?

just pull the trigger on yet another AP! Well, this is a special one in many people's hearts whether they are fortunate enough to own it or not... Can you guess? I'll give you a few hints:1) came out awhile back2) sickest AP ROO with an elegant yet stylish design and I think no ROO has been able to top it YET...
