Hello All!My family was up this weekend to celebrate my daughter's birthday. At some point the topic of watches came up and my Uncle mentioned that he had my Grandfather's "old work watch." He said I should look at it and fix it up.Well, today it arrived in the mail. I must admit, I was expecting a Timex from the '60s. I know nothing about this watch other than it has seen some very long and hard days. My Grandfather served in the Pacific and my Uncle wasn't sure about the time or place the watch was purchased. With choc dialI know the new one is on OF but i really love the style if the older leather strap model...i just think it gives the watch more class and elegance than the OF not to mention sexier as dont think rubber amd rose gold go well on this watch like on AP's as such...What do u all think...??And any wristshots of your rose gold on strap daytonas with choc dial would be great!
