Breitling a7738753/c850-ss wrist watches news:
This week, Bring A Loupe covers some iconic vintage pieces, but also some others flying more under the radar. Among the obvious choices, you can find an early Speedmaster, a great Heuer Carrera, and a promising Universal Geneve Polerouter Sub. There are also some watches that you probably expected less, including a quartz-powered Rolex and a Movado Datron relying on the mythical El Primero movement. This is your Bring A Loupe for February 5, 2016. An Omega Speedmaster 'Ed White' Reference 105.003-64, And Why It Matters 1 OF 12 Let's start with the reason behind this Speedy's nickname: the astronaut Ed White actually wore a reference 105.003 during the Gemini IV mission when he became the first American to space-walk, in June 1965. Then, you should definitely look at our Reference Points on the Omega Speedmaster for more info on why this early Speedy is so special. The reference 105.003 was indeed the last of the non "Professional" dials, t
I can find all kinds of information on ref # 168.023. Even read about them occasionally.Picture isn't mine. I nicked it off of the web. This is one I picked up last week off of FleaBay. Ref # 168.034 checks out with Omega and the watch looks correct and original. Not too gussied up, at least going by the small stress fracture in the crystal. Quite 70's in it's styling, though. Here is the sellers pics. It's still on the slow boat to Texas. Here is a link to the auction. cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380084735170

Hi All,I have seen a few members here debating about the fit and sizing between the 15202 and 15400 on small wrists so I thought I would add a few shots that might help. I have a 6 3/4 wrist to put it into perspective. I found a very nice 15400 in the shop today and could compare with my Jumbo.Although the 15400 is quite a bit bigger in every way, diameter, depth, bezel and even the size of each bracelet link was a lot thicker than on Jumbo. That being said, it didn't feel out of place and, in fact, quite comfortable on my wrist as it seemed to hug around the wrist. It did add a bit of weight that may impact comfort levels when worn all day.To make a true comparison, I'd need to size the bracelet of the 15400 and give it a little wear time but first impressions were that I could probably enjoy the 15400 as much as I do the Jumbo. For the 15202, you get a smaller and more delicate version of the watch without a second hand and no screw-in crown and you pay a significant amount more for
