Audemars Piguet 67366BC/Y/0020RA/01 wrist watches news:
Almost one year ago I had the pleasure of reviewing the Melbourne Watch Company's Portsea models. A play on Marine chronometers, these nautically themed watches had great style, unique elements, a cool movement with calendar complications and a great price. They were, and still are, one of my favorite casual watches under $1,000. By taking a classic style and adding some modern elements, namely a layered dial that utilizes ceramic discs, they created something very successful and very wearable. To follow up the first series, Melbourne has taken the interesting approach of making a more stripped down and therein more affordable version with the Portsea Heritage. Typically, brands tend to add in more complex versions with the success of a simple three-hander, but in a move that speaks to Melbourne's goal of making very obtainable watches, the new Heritage version drops the Miyota 9120 for a Seiko NH35 and sheds about $200 of the price tag coming in in the low $400's (currency and model de
I'm new to pocket watches. I'm much more accustomed to working on pocket watches. My mom gave me a South Bend 313 in a Keystone J Boss case. The old watch wants to run, but may need a little cleaning as it stops after clicking away for a while. The back screws off, but I don't see any way of releasing the stem. I suspect the front cover of this screws off as well and it might have a lever to set the time. But I can't seem to unscrew it with the couple attempts I've made so far. Please let me know if you have seen a case like this, if the the front does screw off, and how to take the movement out. Thanks for your help.
Hi I'm new on here and was trying to find some help. A WWII vet friend of mine is trying to sell some things to pay for medical bills and he has a 1963 cordell watch with the original box, paperwork, and sells reciept when he bought the watch at the px in vietnam. He was wondering if the watch is worth more than the gold value in it. I believe that the watch is solid 14k gold. I'm not sure what a watch like this is worth so any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance,Del

Awaiting delivery of my first LCD omega and it will need batteries to check condition. Are they available and if so ( i hope...) from where would be a good start. Many thanks indeed.
Dear TRF members I need y'alls help!I have very little experience with Patek, and I know you can't tell me much based on this poor photo, but if you can please let me know how does this piece look to you? Is it a redial? Any help would be highly appreciated:
