B.R.M V6-44-GTCDUK wrist watches news:
What is the "official" Canadian retail of the white Daytona?A few weeks before Christmas I was putting a payment down on a GMT IIc at my AD and when I left I passed one of the showcase windows outside and saw a white and black faced Daytona. The price tag on the white was visible and said $11300. Is that right?I thought these models were tough to obtain and to have both on display??Can an AD ask above MSRP for these watches and if they do is that legal or does it make them look like a hero when they give a discount on an over inflated MSRP?
When I was lent the Navitimer 01 Limited Edition to review I was guilty of being no more excited about getting my hands on this very rare and collectable watch than any other high end wrist watch. That is to say that I was, of course, excited but not to the extent that I would have been if I had realised what I was actually being lent to produce this review. I confess I was a little naive when the Navitimer 01 was announced. I was incredibly interested at the news, last year, that a Limited Edition Navitimer was going to be released with Breitling’s new in-house movement, the Calibre 01, but was, ultimately, a little disappointed when I first saw the press photos of the Navitimer 01 and heard the recommended retail price of ¡ê6000. I was left thinking “Is that it?”. The most important movement in Breitling’s long and illustrious history and they take a standard Navitimer and change the seconds hand and date display colours. However, I now sit here with this extra
Is this a make or break deal? Or are you ambivelant toward AR?
Whats your first choice dial colour for the 15300 or 400 RO?
The wife and I purchased these for each other close enough to Valentine¡¯s Day to be gifts for one another. Hers is the 31mm Lady Datejust in pink, Romans with the jubilee bracelet. She wanted something practical enough to wear everyday at work as a full time mom yet wouldn¡¯t attract too much attention. She adores her Lady DJ. Mine of course is the 114060 which I had not considered until trying it on. I am a larger individual and felt that 40mm might be too small as I have worn larger watches for years. I tried larger dive/Sub variants and personally felt they were either too thick or just a bit too much for my intended daily wear. My internet heart was set on the Exp2, however when I tried it on in black, for me it was underwhelming(perhaps the Polar would have made a different impression). In the end the 114060 presented the best on me and fit my lifestyle and needs. I especially love the unobstructed symmetry of the no date dial and am truly surprised at just how larg
