- This is a comfortable and durable watch. I got it on sale, but it's quite the bargain even at full price. I'm buying more as gifts!

- So awesome I bought two. Yup pretty much. Shiny plastic, chunky. Fit for a medium wrist. Love the b/w one best.

- Great looking watch, lightweight, a little pricey but bearable. The style and simplicity of it, the green contrast with the solid black, is its essence and strength. No regrets on this one.

Baume & Mercier 8869 wrist watches news:
What is a Serti dial?. They have been mentioned in a few threads both as original and after market. What is the difference. Photos may help explain.regards Theo
Well, I bought the Tissot Quadrato and was looking to spice it up a little. What Omega band, or any other EXTREMELY comfortable band would fit just fine on this watch? I love the watch, and love the band, but if I ever have to resell it I want it to be unique so I can get some cash from it! Thanks guys!-Sparks.
I'm sure most of us have given some thought as to coordinating our watch with our outfit. Hamilton Khakis go well with either jeans or khakis. Jazzmasters go well with a suit. A dress watch can also work with a casual outfit. Sport watches don't seem to go well when dressed up, in my opinion. I would never wear a NATO banded Khaki with a suit. Are there any combinations you prefer? Any you avoid?
Best wishes for 2008 from the land that's first to see the new year in (no, not Kamchatka, the other place...)May all your watch purchases/acquisitions for the new year be great ones! And of course, health, wealth and happiness to all of you in WTF world
I have an Omega Seamaster Professional that was recently serviced.Prior to the service, I could wear the watch and never have to worry about it running out of power. I did this for almost twenty years (with modest service on the watch in that time). After the most recent service, I can't seem to get anything more than the power reserve from winding the watch--consistenly about 55 hours after 2.5 days, measured multiple times over a couple weeks.I have a Rolex watch that I can wear FAR less and not EVER have any issues with it running out of power.I know the mechanisms are different (7750 winds in one direction, Rolex in both directions), but I'm struggling with this being normal after a full service--especially since I never had any issues with automatc winding prior to the service. Plus, the 7750 has such a storied history of performance, I would imagine there'd be posts everywhere if the watch had to be manually wound every day-and-a half....Is this at all normal that the watch runs
