- I had the for the past 5 years and used to be one of my favorite watches but ¡ now with this new imved, updated I am even happier. There are 2 times now, 2 alarms, they added Azimuth beside compass, a second difference function on altimeter, relative and absolute pressure for weather.
Plus I love the Titanium being much lighter that the Stainless Steel.

The 2013 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) was held last week in Geneva. And unlike its larger counterpart in Basel, this watch fair is mostly closed to the public. My First Patek - ID?
I just graduated college and my grandfather gave me this vintage Patek as a graduation gift. He has had it for quite some time and does not have the certificate anymore. I'd like to know what model it is (if anyone can tell me) and what year it was made (I think early 60s from the research I've done but I can't seem to find one that matches it). Thanks for the help!P.S. - sorry for the glare in the photo.

Obscure and good automatic watch
The thread about new to watches, need help got me thinking. What is a good automatic watch (with decent movement) for around $500-$600? I am trying to think outside the regular affordable automatic watches like Invicta, Seiko etc. I have a few watches already but now I am looking for a good automatic watch that I can wear on a daily basis without worrying to much about it. Currently in my stable I have PAM164, PAM049, old Rolex datejust, old Rolex quartz, Tag Heuer Professional - the smaller/original Link model, and a few cheap watches like Michael Kors Chrono watches that I wear when I travel .I just read about Steinhart so is there any other brand in that category? I like the look of Invicta but to be honest it looks to much like a replica of Rolex (in a good way). I am thinking about brands that are not too common like Oris, Hamilton, Ball etc, something more obscure that only real watch connoisseur would know. What do you guys think?

Pulled the trigger!
After lurking in this part of the forum for a while I decided to get a Speedy Pro as soon as possible. The heritage of this model makes it a must for any enthusiast and after securing a deal on the second hand market and waiting 5 weeks for a polish and replacement crystal here it is Couldn't be happier, I think this completes my collection (16610LV, 16660, Breitling Crosswind Racing) and I doubt I'll be making any more purchases (for a while at least)!

Fat Lady GMT bracelet
Close to 4 years ago, I sent a well worn GMT Fat Lady into Rolex Canada for a full restoration. https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=342110Some members were horrified that I would molest an older classic. I had no regrets then and none today. I end up with a pristine GMT that I will probably never sell. It is still almost as cherry as when it came back and I almost forgot I had them return the original bracelet to me. They disassembled it, polished and cleaned it. It looks like new save for a teeny-weeny dent in one of the end links. Had I known how nicely it would clean up I might not have replaced it.It's just sitting in the suede bag and I was wondering what value should be placed on it? As mentioned, It has the end links (restored as well)It has a little stretch but it looks like new after they restored it. As mentioned, it has the end links as well. Might be short a link or two. I know people will say don't break up the set but the originality of the watch is not that important t
