- In my last trip to Switzerland I met this watch and fell in love with it (actually I fell in love, initially, with a Link but there is no way for me paying the price it costs). I spent my entire trip drool over it in the stores but the price was a little bit over (475 Swiss francs) and I knew I could get a better price in [WEB]. When I came back from my trip I found this piece by 300 bucks in [WEB]. It was still a little bit over my regular budget for watches but I was in love with it. So I purchased it and no regrets so far. The piece is beautiful (I loved the yellow hands, but my wife not so much.) and robust. Its glass seems to be impossible to scratch. It was an excellent purchase until I got money for a :-).

Baume & Mercier 8821 wrist watches news:
Swiss watch making is all about control. Parts are machined within tolerances of one thousandth of a micron. Assembly is done in near-clinical environments. External influences such as moisture, temperature, position and magnetism are not allowed to interfere with the operation of these precision machines. This quest for mechanical perfection has always been the case but in recent times, this desire for control has reached out ever further.Brand image is tightly policed, whether it is a no-expense-spared advertising campaign featuring a Hollywood luminary, a carefully worded statement from the company CEO or an artfully massaged representation of the brand history on the corporate website. So far 'so in-house,' and the problem begins when you want to sell your products to the public. For years, watch brands have built partnerships with retailers to develop a distribution network. Using a variety of ¡®carrot and stick¡¯ techniques they try to ensure that their products are sold in the ¡®rig
It was February 26th, 2002 whixh is almost exactly 7 years ago.Boy I was proud because of that wonderful picture :DSo in the past 7 years I practised with some 55.000 watch shots. The model is still the same but older. It now has tritium instead of SL.The bracelet is a little more comfortable and the picture a lttle more brilliant ;)Then it was Sony, now it is Canon. But it¡äs still a great watch
I bought this watch on the swap the other day. It came with a nice 207 movement and was listed as an Illinois Hudson, offered by a known seller who is normally quite knowledgeable on Illinois. I was able to figure out pretty quickly what it ACTUALLY isand isn't, and I bid accordingly. Evidently most other bidders did not as I got it for less than $130 a STEAL IMHO. GREG is not allowed to guessas I shared the info with him (and also our watch guy) last week after I won, but hopefully others might have some ideas? (IF you know FOR SURE (TOM, BRYAN, MARK, WILL)please refrain a bit to see how close people get. LOL) I will post a more conclusive photo tomorrow.Regards,Rick
Visiting Canada for the first time to meet my wife's family just outside of Toronto. Any insight as to the best place (AD) to see the full Tudor collection? From the Tudor website there are only 4 or so dealers to begin with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Cheers!
Hi Everyone Hope your week has been going well :)I'm looking to purchase a used polar 16570 from 2001 with box and paper. It looks mint from the pictures and asking price is $7,250 AUD. So about $5,560 USD.Is this asking price reasonable given current market trend? Thanks in advance.R
