Baume & Mercier MOA10014 wrist watches news:
I found a sweet looking black faced Submariner two tone 16613 today. It is an older model without the gold in the clasp and with the holes drilled all the way through the case. It is in excellent condition, and doesn't really even have any noticeable scratches on the clasp. It does have one little scratch on the gold portion of one of the links. Other than that it looks beyond excellent, probably 95% to 98% condition. Furthermore the watch will be completely serviced by the dealer who is a rolex trained and certified watchmaker for decades, just like his father before him. He said he would buff out the scratch and was also going to replace the crown and stem during the service. It does not include any box or paperwork unfortunately. The price is $5,000, including the servicing. This seems like a pretty good deal to me, what is the opinion of the forum? Thanks in advance for your help.
I Ordered it 6 weeks ago , and finally is here...It came in this luxury plastic bugWave design under the strapIt's a deployment strap so the deployment buckle is necessary..Time to take the bracelet off The strap is waiting to ''meet'' the watch...On the left the bracelet's spring bars and on the the right the bigger spring bars i am going to use with this strap. Both pairs are genuine .Omega is using bigger spring bars for straps and smaller with bracelets , for more secure fitting i guessparison photo:On the left the strap with the bracelet's spring bar and on the right the bigger one.Wrist shots finallyThats it , thank you very much for watching.
Thought you might be interested in this. My first watch back in the 70's, also my first Oris. It even survived a 2 story fall onto cement! Still works fine to this day. I must find a watch maker (who doesn't charge too much) to give it a clean and minor restoration. Its hand winding. Anyone know anything about the model?
Long time Rolex Fan boy here, but recently started to get into AP. Been trying out a lot of models. Even a 37mm Diamond Bezel.
I used to be a big Panerai collector. I loved everything about the brand. I loved the heritage and history, the DNA if you will. I then ended up heavily thinning out my Panerai collection to only one piece, from 10. The only one I kept was my PAM199. After these moves and watching the market fall, I felt like I sold myself short and needed some back. I decided I was going to add the ones that meant the most to me. Ultimately, I only ended up adding back the PAM249. I loved the cali dial, history, etc. My Panerai collection felt fine at these 2 pieces. That being said, after buying the PAM249 again, I wore it one time. It was a new piece, unworn, mint, with the OEM strap still in plastic. I wore it the one time and put it back in my safe. I felt like this was my lingering hope that I would once again return to Panerai. Although they are not the most expensive, most prestigious, etc. of brands, I did love them, yet over the last 4 years I did not wear one of my two PAM watches once. I wr
