Baume & Mercier MOA10009 wrist watches news:
I'm still a bit in awe ever since I found this watch this afternoon in one of my customer's "bargain bin" (the watches he didn't really want to keep in his collection). He asked for a trivial amount of money, which I promptly handed over without questioning OR opening the watch. Only after did I come to find out nifty little details such as the original crystal and practically un-touched/blemished movement. The case is 20 microns gold plated and has some minor wear through around the lug edges, but that's thankfully it. I really hope I manage to keep this in my collection, because of about 20-30 of these that I've come across, this is the only one in what I consider to be 90%+ vintage condition. Glad to see at least some owners failed to "wear" their very "wearable" omegas!Hope you enjoy the photos!and a quick wrist shot!

So this watch was serviced by a company with a mixed internet reputation about a year ago (before I bought it). Take a look at the pushers and how they are sitting on their stems (is that the right term?). Notice the one on the right is sitting higher on the stem than the one on the left. It's also a bit spongy in that it has some downward movement when pressed gently. It seems to be well attached to the stem so I don't think it's just going to pop off... Anyone have any thoughts? The watch was serviced a year ago and after buying it, I really can't afford much more of repairs. I thought I would see what you guys here thought before taking it to a shop for an assessment...
These watches.... Are off the hook right nowDon't get me wrong, I love them all... MassivelyBut I'm wondering... In 2012 I saw and tried on 5711 in ADs while deciding if I like it enoughIn 2014 I tried on 116520, similarlyIn 2015 I bought a 16520 for ¡ê8,000, which was pricey just 2 years ago!Obviously they've all gone up a bit in rrp. And been currency adjusted due brexit etcBut some are nearly 100% over retail nowHas this been seen before? I heard, before I arrived on scene that the original 116520 went few grand over, but is the current situation unprecedented or cyclic?
