Royal Oak case back numbers
I just received yesterday Royal Oak (15400) with a black dial, purchased from an Audemars Piguet AD. On the case back there is only one number, the case number, starting with letter J. I thought that Royal Oaks have another number (watch number) engraved on the case back. The warranty certificate also has only case number and a movement number. Both numbers correspond to the numbers on the watch. Does anyone know if they sometimes don't put the second number (No xxxx) or if they stopped doing it with the latest J series. Thank you.

Pardon my ignorance.I've browsed through AP site watch browser and noticed only a few watches have novelty written under them.Can someone help me understand novelty better?Does it mean it's more exclusive? Limited? The best series? Coveted? Award-winner in its class?I couldn't help but see that both the ROO Diver (black and silver dials) 15710 are both novelty.How are the pieces labelled novelty? Referring to mainly DJs and DDs. When Rolex did their major update on these watches in the early 2000s does anyone if the diamond size increase and if so by how much? The diamonds in my late model DJ seem to be larger than the ones in my late 80s DD.
