Baume & Mercier 83212 1 wrist watches news:
Hi All,I've recently acquired a 15202st full set with box papers. While it has been verified at the boutique, one thing that bothers me is the welding marks at the inner clasp.I did a quick search on the internet and found that there is a variation to this issue, some came without, some are semi-welded, and some are fully welded like mine. Appreciate if any 15202st owners (earlier model with single fold clasp) could chip in on this matterPics of the watch:Pics from internet (note the inner clasp)fully welded:Semi-welded:
Hi Everyone,I am in the hunt for a an AP Royal Oak, though it is not for me but a gift. The recipient has a smaller wrist and tends to prefer smaller and more vintage/classically styled watches. In doing some cursory research and seeing some pieces in person I believe the 15202 is the one to get. Is that true? And on the 15202, is there a common or normal amount of discounting to be had at an AD? Like, should I expect at least 5% or 10%, or if I get 10% or 15% to jump at the deal? I'm experienced with watches but not buying a lot of them, and not buying any more than a Rolex Submariner. Any and all advice/input is greatly appreciated all wise forum group! Thanks!!
I have a 16610 (D serial) that i purchased new about 12 years ago. I also have a 16710 (also D serial) that i purchased second-hand. Per the warranty papers it was originally purchased about 3 months after i bought my sub.The actual serial numbers of the 2 watches differ by about 18,500. I'm just curious about this but am trying to figure out how close the production dates of these 2 watches might be. Any sense of production numbers in 2005/2006? in advance
I have the day off and I am watching Leaving Las Vegas I forgot about the scene where Nicholas Cage walks into a pawn shop takes off his watch the guy says 500 Cage turns to the guy next to him and says:500 dollars for a 93 Rolex Daytona...I'll do it
Friend of mine was in a Greenwich, CT AD yesterday and the salewoman told her she heard Rolex was phasing out 34mm?! Anyone hear whispers of this?
