- Very nice looking, looks better in person than expected. I bought it for a gift so I can't comment on the wearability or comfort.

- Within one week of usage the band broke. The watch itself works and looks fine. Too bad I can't wear it any longer without a functioning band. It looks great in my drawer though!

Baume & Mercier MOAO8716 wrist watches news:
A "superman" watch is one that is hard to destroy, or really rugged. Most all Sinn watches fall into this category, as they go above and beyond the normal threshold for wear and tear, along with the ability to survive very extreme conditions. All this needs to be taken into consideration when realizing we are talking about a little machine that sits on your wrist. In fact, no other genuine machines (meaning they are mechanical through and through), can really match how hardy a good watch is, and Sinn obviously takes that to another level. I am not going to bore anyone with a laundry list of features that the Sinn 757 has which makes it strong. Suffice it to say that you can rely of the following main assurances from the powerhouse German watch maker. First, the case is made of a specially hardened steel (which is "Tegimented"), upping the vicker strength, to a Superman like five time stronger than normal steel. The movement and inside of the case are anti-magnetic and feature special sh
I'm trying to get some info on a watch I bought used years ago and where I might get a resonable repair done. I had some one look at my old gold seamaster chrono for a button replacement and they didn't get it sealed up well..When it fogged up I sent it to a local jewlery stoe and they sent it to Omega..They want a GRAND to repair it.I don't even know if the watch is worth that much. The guy that looked at it/screwed it up left me a case#I think, it is 176.007 are there any places in KCMO qualified to work on this and what might it be worth in good shape? jpratt490@yahoo
I am looking at a pam 051 from 2006. I want to make sure that it includes everyhting that it came with from the AD.what should be included with box and papers?any help would be greatly appreciated, wings
Hey guys,Thought I would share my newest member to you. Got this baby BNIB from AD in Norway yesterday and no words could express how much I am in love with this one! I've had 9 Rolex models these last six months but the feeling of picking up my very first Patek is completely indescribable! I thought at first I would continue to miss my last Rolex, a 116515LN Chocotona, but now I know why they say a Patek is a Patek! Comfort to a whole new level!
Is polishing a PP a good or bad thing? Background: I am getting serious about pulling trigger on a used 5146, can't decide WG or YG. A few have shown up here by trusted sellers and polishing is an option on used.If PP is in pretty good shape with no obvious flaws is there benefit or drawback to polishing it?Thanks
