F.P. Journe Launches 10th Anniversary Chronom¨¨tre ¨¤ Resonance
Though it was not the first piece produced under the F.P. Journe brand, the Chronom¨¨tre ¨¤ Resonance certainly played a major role in establishing Journe’s reputation as a creative maverick. When it was launched, the watch, and the theory behind it, were frequently discussed in the online forums. In 2004, Journe introduced the second version of the R¨¦sonance with the first movement ever made in 18K rose gold, a specification that still applies to all of the brand’s chronometers. Now in 2010, Journe launches a special 10th anniversary model. The dial at 9 o’clock now offers twin digital disks with a 24 hour display, defining the hours of day and night. The dial at 3 o’clock in silver guilloche indicates the local time in a traditional 12 hour display. The movement remains in 18K rose gold, and a new gear transmission has been added to power the 24 hour display. A winder question...
Hi guys.Lately I have been struggling with the way I am handling my precious AP's. I have them all displayed on a winder and they look great. But, Is this the way to go?I have heard a lot of stories regarding the winder pro vs cons, but I really dont know what to make of all the info thats out there. The only thing that I can see positive from a winder, aside of having your watch ready, is the fact that you can break them in. Sometimes you will not be able to determine if something is wrong with your watch the first year if you just wear them occasionally. The other thing is, although having the motor running all the time, might shorten the watch life span, wouldn't it be the same for the crown? I have seen horror stories of loose crowns etc. since they have to be manipulated on a constant basis. What do you guys think? Can you guys give me a little piece of mind?

Just arrived my newest family member. I was against the grayish bezel but it has grown on me. The Planet Ocean has always been an awesome watch but with the upgrades they made to this one. It is a true stunner. Here's a quick iPhone pic.

Omega seamaster slider screw
Newbie so apologies if this is wrong section.My problem is that the slider screw in the bracelet came adrift .I have managed to locate a new one but when I fitted it the slider still came off.Does anybody know what I am doing wrong or can you point me in the right direction.Regards
