- Since I bought it, I have not taken it off: it stays on in the shower, in bed (the alarms are loud enough to wake even me) and it has replaced all of my other (and more expensive) watches. It's a buddy.

So after a few days, is the romance still strong? Newbie looking at Royal Oak
For my 3rd watch, I'm interested in the AP RO 15450- either the SS or RG model.For me there is a lot to like about the AP RO, the design (the SS model looks fantastic and I love the metal bracelet), the fact that it's rare, and most importantly (this will sound silly)- I love the back of the watch. I love the clear caseback- when I was a kid, I owned a translucent swatch, I thought it was an amazing thing to see the inside of a watch. Then when I saw my first Patek Calatrava, I was blown away at the clear caseback and the beauty of its movement. I've been obsessed with getting a watch with a clear caseback to showcase the beautiful movement and from what I've seen, the 3120 is gorgeous and the gold rotor is stunning. I love it. Mandatory pics... I'm really liking the 15450. Either SS or the RG with brown strap. So I'm looking into these watches and am planning to buy one and keep it for life.
