- I received this watch as a birthday present from my mother and I love it. The crystal accents add the right amount of sparkle for the diva in me. And the leatherette band is very attractive. A perfect watch for day and night.

Baume et Mercier 10116 wrist watches news:
First a vintage Rolex forum and now a Patek?
I picked this up on eBay on a whim - anyone come across one of these before?IMG_0820.jpgIMG_0821.jpgIMG_0822.jpgIMG_0824.jpgIMG_0830.jpgThere are a couple pages I didn't take pictures of, but can if anyone is interested.I'm a newbie collector with a strong interest in American vintage watches (pocket & wrist). I've been lurking around here for a few weeks now, at at watchuseek for a bit longer (hope I'm allowed to mention them here ).
I was making an inventory today of my watches and while digging through all of them I found this Hamilton Hayden.I guess I am getting old, I don't remember when I got it or any of the details, I just know that I have not seen it or worn it in years! So I thought I would share it with all my fellow WIS's in the hope that someone might tell me a little more about it.Photos taken by me this afternoon, Sunday, May 31st.
As much as I love Rolex watches, I’ve been looking out a lot more as of late. Picked up these two at different times. Almost sold the Blackbird, but I am pretty stoked that I kept it. The Blackbird specifically has great lume, a bezel for timing and I love blacked out look. The Transocean has this amazingly clean dial and I love the day/date combination. I’ve alweays been a sucker for it. Both are basically the same size. Slim cases too, so they wear really well. They are big at 43 mm, but they don’t wear big at all, based on the slim profile. They wear much smaller than one might imagine. Apparently Breitling has gotten very flexible with straps so it’ll be fun to see what options I might come up with. They are both very reasonably priced. The new warranty card that cane along with the Transocean is really neat. So far, I’m really impressed and glad to be back with Breitling.
I¡¯m going to buy a BLNR as my next watch. I love GMTs. Rolex makes the best GMTs in my judgment. I have always loved the black and blue bezel. I have the opportunity to buy from a TS at what I consider a fair price. With that as context, is it mistake to buy this week in the context of a potential upgrade to the 3235 movement? What are the puts and takes - and any other considerations?
