I've been looking to acquire a Germany-made watch for some time now. Perhaps the reputation German engineers (and clockmakers) have for superior craftsmanship, aesthetic conservatism, and attention to functionality and fine detail over extravagance has become somewhat stereotypical and clich¨¦d. One can argue, however, that this reputation has been well-earned over time more by it's basis in example-after-example, than in stereotype. Which brings me here.Where to begin? There are so many aesthetically pleasing German watch manufacturers. A. Lange & S?hne, Glash¨¹tte Original, and M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte Instruments are some of the more visible and historic brands. The first two are way above my pay-grade to afford, and I have been looking very hard at the M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte line- more than one of which is definitely on the short list of my future purchases. But, as I have found out, these are just a few of the German brand offerings out there, many of which are affordable to the "average" watch

What watch would you would like to see upgraded?
I was just thinking what watch or watches would you like to see upgraded if it were possible? I honestly would not mind seeing the Rolex explorer1 upgraded or even get ready to laugh this Timex automatic that I own I know it's nothing special but what I paid for I could not be happier shore it uses a chinese movement but if Timex were to say use a modified swiss movement with a minute repeater function that would be kind of cool, Of course it would have to be in 18kt gold or platinum and limited to only 20 piece's or so lol. Well lets hear your thoughts.

The real story behind ADs lists!!!
I was traveling and stopped by an AD that I bought my BLNR from to chat and see what¡¯s in stock!I had the following conversation with the store manager;My first question was: ¡°hey have you guys received any ss Daytona¡¯s or skyD this year¡± ?Manager: I¡¯m getting sick of all the DJs I¡¯m receiving, haven¡¯t received a single professional watch since I sold you that BLNRMe: so did I move at all of that Daytona list? Manager: no you¡¯re still number 12 or so which might be 2 yearsI started looking at his PM stock and expressed interest in his WG skyD, but was hesitantThat¡¯s when he said..... ¡°give me a minuteHe went inside and came out with a box. Opened it and YES it was a black dial ss Daytona!!!!I really want a white one! He said if you make a WG or TT skydweller, the Daytona will be yours!!!!My jaw literally dropped to the floor and I was speechless how he do that!!I have been seriously considering a TT skyD but wanted a white dial Daytona! I asked him to let me think about it till Monday
