Omega Omega 941 wrist watches news:
OK, while out last week I was advised by an AD I usually get good info from that Omega will be implementing a price increase in the US this fall. He didn't have the exact date, but going of past history, if it's implemented it'll probably be October or November. He said this was the increase Omega wanted to do last year, but decided not to in light of the economy. But, he said this fall will have the increase. No word on amount, he's just going by what he was told by Omega. It does make some sense to me given they were all set to implement an increase last year & pulled out at the last minute. So, while take AD advise for the price you paid for it, just FYI there in case you're in the market. Also, if Omega does go forward with the increase you can probably expect some of the other brands to follow them.
Hi. Newbie to the forum and watches. I am looking to buy an automatic Seamaster to use as a travel watch as I don't want to walk around with my Planet Ocean. Could someone tell me from what point Seamasters had mineral glass, are likely to still be waterproof and to what depth. I'm ideally looking for something that will be waterproof to 1 atm/ 30m.Cheers for any advice and help.
I must have stumped everyone with my first post or this forum is not very friendly. I will have to stick to Rolex forums where people answer posts (the polite thing to do). However the people on another forum (VRF) answered all my questions. The Rolex site must have more knowledgeable people there. I always enjoy posting and watching my post go down until out of sight w/o one reply. =) maverick
