Vacheron Constantin Vacheron Constantin 47044 wrist watches news:
Armida A8, brass case, with the NH35a movement if I recall correctly. I selected the green dial, no date specifically, and shipping was extremely quick from Hong Kong to the USA. The watch comes with two bezels, one seen above in solid brass, and the other has an insert that matches the color of the dial (green). Two straps are provided, the rubber shown and a one piece nylon strap with Zulu type brass hardware. A springbar tool is provided also. The lugs are drilled, which makes switching straps that much easier. I've found the movement, which hacks and can be wound manually, to be a good time keeper, and the watch wears well on my average to slightly smaller than average wrist. The piece is substantial however, and has some weight to it. I'll be allowing the patina to change naturally, and may try the product Renaissance Wax on it to stop the progression when it reaches a point I like. Eric
How much does it cost to service a 15450 vs a 15202?Also how often do you need to service an AP?
To make a short story long....many moons ago I decided on a Sub over a Speedy. After that I went for an AT Chrono, bypassing the Speedy once again. To make things even worse I added a Panerai and a JLC after that. Now I feel almost guilty that the speedy has been overlooked for so long. So time to act!Anyway, I have found this 3570.50.00 Speedmaster. It's a 2006, comes with papers, has had a light polish, and comes with a 12 month movement warranty. Asking price is AU $2,999.Can i have some opinions on this watch/price pls. Also should I be going for the Hesalite or a sapphire?
Dang, my admiration has no bounds for those on this Forum who take such gorgeous photos of their watches. This is pretty much my first attempt, and I'll have to say... I stink! Rob
Anyone ever have a nautilus bracelet or clasp that needed to be replaced? Despite it's great comfort, it just does not seem that durable. Any personal experiences to share?
