searching for a new genuine Poljot strap for my Strela. The original strap is butter smooth leather inside with textile outer, Poljot logo burnished inside the strap - or maybe they call it tooled leather? I've worn the watch often enough that the textile is looking tattered and freyed - looks really ratty, want a new original strap. AnYwAy, found a place, but I'm confused on the price, it's listed at EUR 9,99 a quick google conversion = $1,300.79 . . .?? are you kidding me - am I doing something wrong ? I can't read any part of the online site, but it's pictures show 9 separate of these Poljot straps - many colors of textile - but DANG, $1,300.79. . . . It would work out to $144.53 per strap, which is almost acceptable, but DANG I don't need all 9 of these straps at this cost. . . BUT iif I was to convert 9.99 instead of 9,99 it seems WAY too cheap for this buttery soft leather strap. . . Any Idea's? wondering which watch is this ( used by agent scully in 90's series the x-files)
HiIm a new member. I was wondering what brand and model watch is this (see link). It is used by federal agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson)on the 4th season of the x files. The chapter " Max" of the 4th season has a close up of the watch dial.I found information about the other watches she uses: from 5th to 7th season she used an omega deville prestige 4260.23 ( i want to find an omega like that one :() and for the 8th season she used a men's omega deville prestige 4310.31. Why I love my GMT
I bought the Omega GMT as a cheaper alternative to the GMT Master and I still hope I will own a GMT Master (old style) before I die, but I have been very pleased with the SmP GMT and at the risk of boring you guys, here is what I like about it's design. But first a picture or two. (Oh no, not again you say). Now why I like the watchIt's pure function over design:- Oversized markers on a black backround are very easy to see in poor lighting conditions- Layers of Superluminova make night vision easy- The 24 Hr hand is red making it easy to see the 2nd timezone at a glance- Boxed date lead the eye quickly to the date function- Oversized military style hands - again easy to see in all lights and no light- Two tone bezel is not essential but gives a quick estimate of night and night- Crown is deeply recessed for protection and the bracelet is nice, but not flashy.- Non hacking adjustable hour hand and a bezel for a third time zone make this a real GMTWhat traveller would want more?Now, why
