It's always fun when a watch takes you by surprise. You know, when you've seen something in pictures, but it didn't really click with you, then you see it in person and you get it. In the metal, as they say, the watch makes sense. Perhaps the detailing is better than expected, perhaps the size and weight just work for you, perhaps it has a subtle charm that can only be found when it's on your wrist. This was the case for me and the Orient Producer.Immediately, since it's an Orient I know it's going to be a great value and decently made, especially at the price for a mechanical. But, the look isn't really one that I find inherently appealing. I'm not huge on rectangular watches (though the Orient Masquerade I had was very cool) or open-heart dials. While the design was fine, a handsome dress watch with hints of Art Deco, it just didn't call out to me. Klarstein 10 watch winder box not turning
Hi everyone,A couple of years ago my wife bought me a Klarstein 10 watch winder box for XmasClassic Watch Winder Display Case - Holds 10 Watches - Klarstein.co.ukThere is the link for it to show what it is like, well recently we were having some work done in our room where i kept it so i switched it off and it was put away for three weeks. Once the work was done and i set it up again and it lights up but does not turn the platforms anymore. I know you are supposed to be able to access the internal batteries through the base thinking i could check inside it but i cannot find any way to get into it.Does any one have any knowledge on how to have a go at fixing one of these pleaseeeeeeeeeeee ??Take care, Bob.

My new Precisionist
Is a Longwood, model 97B110bulovaprecisionist/en...ngwood/97b110/What a watch! The finish and fitting are great, very dressy, but can be useful in casual ocassions tooBUT, altough the smooth sweeping is nice, it feels or looks more like a hummer (Tuning Fork) and not as a mechanical...Mechanicals, no matter how high the beat ratio is, always you see and hear those small "tickings" that are the magic of it I think, but in the case of a hummer or in particular the Precisionist, the sweeping is so countinuos that you can't see anything "ticking" and you can't hear any humming eitherAnyway a great watch!Dennis, now I owe pics of my last three arrivals, promise that will post soon

New to Breitling- Which one is it ?
Hello, I just came across this Breitling and after reading much about them I am still not sure which model it is. Any Help ?The back is marked 765 but it does not have a bezel on the face like most 765's I have seen. It is a screw on back.
