Cartier W6700155 wrist watches news:
Hey guys new to the forum here and I have a question. Although Anomino is not a Panerai their heritage and style are pretty closely related and I could not think of a better forum to post this question in seeing as how if you guys like the stylings of Panerai you may know some facts on the Anomino brand. So if you could answer me a quick question to satisfy my curiosity I would be grateful.Does anyone know what the 1-20 around the dial on the Anomino Cronoscopio MK II is for?
Well I finally got around to getting a propper strap for My Grandfathers Timex Electric. It is a dark brown Bund strap(thanks ChronoWorld)It fits perfectly and makes the watch pop. I put it on and headed outside for some wrist shots and BANG! It fogged up...bad. So I took it back in sideand poped off the case back to dry it out. I could not remove the movement. I then realized the chrystal had to be removed to get the movement out. I began to carefully press and heard a small "crack"...I panicked..I put the battery back in and .........nothing..I could not get it started again.....my heart sank. I took it to Lou to see if he could work his magic on it as I so wanted to wear it and share it with all of you. Alas Lou could do nothing except politley scold me. This is of course a watch with no signifigant retail value but itis one of three items left to me by my Grandfather. One of which was lost back in highschool leaving me with two, the Timex and the Lathin. My grandfather died when I

I thought I'd do a 24 hour time test on a real Rolex date/just and a fake one I bought a couple years ago for $30 bucks on Canal St. The reason I thought I would do this is that the fake Rolex works correctly in every way and seems to keep good time. So I just wound them up and placed them face up for 24 hours. Every now and then I would wind them the same way.real one:fake:Pic of fake removedAfter one day, the real Rolex was +8 sec. and the fake was +7 sec. Better. I know that the real one was serviced a year ago, I don't suspect the fake one has been touched since it was put together. I wear it as a beater, but I'm starting to get respect for it. I mean, for $30 bucks it turned out to be a fine value. Makes me wonder about dropping major money on a name.
I was at the mall today with some time to kill and decided to stop by the local AD to try on a 233 (again), since I've been lusting for one ever since I sold my 422, after finally admitting that it wore too large for my liking and was being left at the watch box without getting much use.Well, they didn't have a 233 in the store, which was a bummer, but I got to try on a 533, which I didn't like as much as the 233. I missed the dome crystal and the thinner profile of the 233, although it was nice to have the 9 numeral on the dial of the 533.Then, when I was getting ready to leave, something caught my eye in the watch box, and I asked to try it on. It was a 425 (47mm Rad with SLC dial), and wow! I thought it was amazing!I had never given Radiomir models much thought, but this piece seemed much easier to wear than my 422. The absence of the crown protecting mecanism of the luminor cases, added to the slimmer profile of the hand wind caliber and the sleekness of the wire lugs made this 47m
