Earlier this week, we stopped off in Le Sentier, Switzerland, to visit the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre. We were there to see something brand new – something they we will be thrilled to report on in the coming months. But, like most great products, what is new is usually based in something old, and what we saw as lovers of JLC's Geophysic line of watches was downright awesome. As you may remember, the very first Geophysic was designed to be the utmost in chronometric performance and durability, and one example was gifted to a Captain William R. Anderson, who piloted the USS Nautilus – the first atomic submarine – to the North Pole in 1958. We saw his actual watch. 1 OF 4 William Anderson was a naval officer, who later became a U.S. Representative for Tennessee. Is It Uncool To Browse With No Intent To Buy?
Whenever I pass a high end jewelry store that sells watches (in a mall or if I pass a Tourneau) I always want to go in and look at the awesome watches (it's a sickness, I know) and maybe even try a few on and occasionally I do but I always feel weird because I have no intention of buying anything and I make it a point to tell the salesperson right off the bat that I'm not looking to buy so there's no misunderstanding and if they're busy not to waste their time with me because I'm just passing time while the wife is shopping.Is it uncool to ask them to try on a few different watches knowing full well there's no possible chance for a sale?I just like trying on cool watches....

Fortunately here in Hong Kong they are quite easy to source so once my mind was made up it only took a few hours to locate. Words do no justice!.......My AD was able to get me one on a weeks notice! Granted it¡¯s probably because they¡¯ve held my deposit hostage since the Daytona C release on 2016 and still no clear idea on a delivery date. In any case, I¡¯ll take it! Fully stickered and all!And the car.....oh the M550i is incredible! Loving my Tuesday!
