I was shopping on eBay for a Native American watch band when i came across this for $50. The sell was just selling the band and trowing in the non working watch. I was a bit more excited about the watch than the band. We will have to see what a little restoration can do. This also gave me a chance to post on this fourm. Does anyone know anything about the Hamilton S/S Khaki Chronograph item that is frequently on eBay? It claims to be a discontinued model, brand new with a Hamilton factory warranty, have an original retail of $1250, and run on the Valjoux 7750. The item typically goes for $430-500, and the seller seems forthcoming and on the up and up when I emailed him. Is this a legit item, and a good deal at that? It sounds to me like it is, but I wanted to get your opinions before I tried to snag one. Thanks!

Dear Patek Community, I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Calatrava 3960 vs the 5022. How do they differ in mechanics, subtle design features, prestige, resale value, wrist wear, etc.? Visually, they appear almost identical. What does the 150 anniversary watch (3960) really 'mean' in horological circles? Where does the price gap between these watches stem from? Dilemma: Would you trade a 118206 Glacier Roman for a PP 5059?
I have been considering trading my Rolex 118206 for a 5959R or J. I have wanted a PP perpetual calendar and can't get one without shedding something from my collection. I think the 118206 is a very pretty watch but am not sure how 'special' it is compared to a PP PC. By trading the rolex it gets me more than halfway home to the PC. I don't wear the Rolex as much as it gets supplanted by various Nautiluses or AP's. since this is the Rolex forum I figured it was a good place for opinion gathering. Thx much
