The image pictured represents two things. First, the type of traffic environment I will be facing in Los Angeles, and second, that the next few days are going to be slow on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. I will be out of town, and thus pretty busy until December 2nd when I return.Its possible I might get to post one or two of the days I am gone, but I like to let you know when I might not be around. Incoming...Denied!!!
Long story short, I decided to step it up another notch today. I wanted another high quality watch to go with the Oris. It came down to a pre-owned Rolex datejust and a new Omega SMP 2255.80. After some deliberation, I thought the Omega was the watch for me. I called the local AD's, only one had the watch in stock, but was over an hour away. After placing the call last night, I was given the price of $1657 for the Omega. I figured that was fair enough, so I loaded up the family and drove there today to purchase the watch.I arrived at the jeweler to find out there were several Omegas there, but not the one I wanted. After about a 10 minute search, and massive confusion, it turned up. The rep I talked to put it behind the counter without my name on it, in hopes I'd show up.I tried it on, really liked it, and asked that they double check the price. The guy working (different from the rep I talked to the previous day) said it would be $1955. I told him that was a couple hundred buck

Help save xmas: Tag not working
Hi all. I bought a new Tag Heuer 2000 Aquaracer Automatic Chronograph Watch #CAF2112.BA0809 and gave it to my husband today on Christmas and we can't get the stopwatch to work. Our return time window is fast approaching and I need to act fast to be able to return it. Is there anything I can do to reset this watch or is it defective? Any help would be so greatly appreciated. I am so disappointed that my gift was a dud. :(
