Bedat & Co 384.010.600 wrist watches news:
I posted this pic before. Here's a question to all of you, since no one noticed before (and I didn't ask): what is wrong in this photo?Well, anyway, having the watch in hand (and on the wrist), I knew within minutes that something was amiss, and by the next day realized that the second "1" in "11" was the wrong font. The original must have come loose sometime in the past, got lost, and the poor watchmaker could only find a "1" of this more typical font from a dial in his box of parts. Lucky for me that the great guy I bought this from just happened to have a spare Rockcliffe dial he (or someone else) obviously had been using for parts, so he sent it to me...and my watchmaker effected the following transformation:
Hi all,I've been reading threads on WTF for sometime now and love the interest and enthusiasm everyone shares here as watch lovers. I haven't had a good reason to post a thread until now !! I'm always looking at watches and recently came across a deal that was just too good to resist and pulled the trigger on my first major watch purchase. I ordered the Williams F1 Team Chronograph and am anxiously waiting on the delivery (a whole month away!!). Here's a picture I grabbed online of the watch (I can't stop looking at it) and I swear I can almost smell the vanilla on the rubber strap that everyone mentions Modified Oris Caliber 673 (Base Valjoux 7750), 25 jewels.Case diameter: 45 mm (excluding crown, pushers and lugs)Height:13 mmWater-resistant up to 5 atm / 50 m
My first official post here, I tend to lurk a lot... Recently came into possession of an Omega Seamaster 30 from ~1965One of the spring bar pins was jammed tight so I completely yanked it off with a set of pliers (lol).. Any idea how to determine which type of spring bar pin to replace it with? 20mm??? Or should I just take it to a service shop in the mall?
I've been obsessed with this watch since its introduction. I've now been offered a white dial version. Your thoughts please?I would greatly appreciate pm's from some of the more knowledgeable guys here with thoughts on what is a fair price. Many thanks.
Hi there just a question, what¡¯s the size of the 42mm stainless Sky dweller dial?I was at a Rolex AD this weekend, I have the SD43 and had a side by side look at the Sky dweller. Even tho the SD43 is bigger, it wears smaller than the Sky. Assuming that is cos of the dial?
