- This watch has an elegant feel to it and the Mother of Pearl face has a radiant but not overwhelming shine. The blue color of the face was what initially caught my eye. It is beautiful and I highly recommend this watch.

Today we have a new release coming out of Glashütte – a new A. Lange & Söhne 1815 chronograph, boutique edition. As many of you know, the 1815 is the mighty Datograph's little brother, featuring the very same expertly finished and truly stunning manually wound chronograph caliber. In fact, some purists even prefer it to the Datograph for its lack of date, and thinner profile. There have been two generations of 1815 chronographs – the first looked like this, and the second like this. The difference between the two? This is from a limited edition of It is a 1970's NOS case, with a 17-jewel FE 5611 automatic wind movement. This particular one has a black teflon coating on it, which I think is great!Secondly is this Citizen Eco-drive "Tough" which I think is a great pick-up-and-go watchMark

I'm in Chicago for the weekend and I went to the nice omega boutique on the magnificent mile. I checked out the Dark Side in person, and it looked great. Anyway, I was wondering if there have been many long term reviews or issues with chips or cracking. Also, since it's ceramic, will it keep that brand new shine indefinitely? Questions about my '60s Constellation
I have owned this '60s Constellation for several years, but up until I took my Sea Dweller in for service, it didn't get much (any?) wrist time. Too bad... after wearing it for a few weeks I really, really like it (although it is pretty 'dainty' as compared to the SD).What I know about the watch isn't much... this is pretty much it:Stainless case does not appear to have ever been polished, the angles and 'edges' are nice and crisp.The Omega script, the omega symbol, and the little star are all applied on the dial.The crystal is new... I had Kevin at TimeTech (in Dallas) completely service the watch when I got it)... it has a little omega symbol in the center of the crystal.There's a lot that I don't know, including... How can I tell if the dial has been refinished?Does it have the correct crown?What movement would be in this watch?I would be most grateful for any 'answers, that anyone could provide!All the best,RobPS: This thing keeps excellent time!!
