Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 9390 wrist watches news:
Hello, I am very new to the world of vintage watches and recently purchased an Elgin Shockmaster Automatic but the winding rotor is not attached and appears to be broken at the attachment point. I have tried researching on how to rotor is attached but all I find is pictures and it looks like its just sitting on a shaft with no screw. I would love to repair this watch myself which is the reason I spent so little on a "project" So any tips would be great. I will attach a few pics for reference.Edit: Also any help on identifying the age would be greatful. The serial number on the case back is u790325, which states the watch is from 1947 but from what I read Elgin started using swiss movements later in the 50s so any help is appreciated.

Put the Bullet on a leather strap, feels and looks nice. Crappy cell phone pic, sorry.
I got a one-day-only 49% off coupon code and convinced myself that I couldn't possibly pass up this opportunity, so in 2-5 working days I will receive my Orient CEU07005B "Futura Calendera.' I love my one Orient so I'm sure I'll be just as happy with this one.I went back and forth between this and about three other Orients but I've had my eye on the Citizen Nighthawk and similar big-dial black watches for a while so I figure this satiates that desire.
Thought I might share this with you all, enjoy friends :)
