- this is a classy looking watch but the face of the watch is larger than I expected..not sure I really like it. It also losses time if not worn constantly.

Omega 4632.3131 wrist watches news:
hope you guys like them both. i will try to take better pic of the sub. but really.....feels like i got a bargain of a lifetime. hope my third rolex will not compete with another artwork. am considering explorer 39 mm. vs a 41 mm datejust.
I just recieved my new 2254.50 and have a question. (Pics to follow). Is the watch suposed to come with any protective plastic on it when new? I didn't get from an AD, so no warrantee card. (I did recieve a 2 year warrantee through the supplier.) Just wondering if all Seamasters come without any protective items on them. Is there suposed to be a COSC certificate? And is there a serial number anywhere on the watch? Also, should I try taking out links or go to my watch guy for that? By the way I love the watch! Thanks!
Can anyone with past experience recommend a PAM seller/dealer on E-Bay? The watch I want is never in stock (113) but E-Bay has a few. These are obviously grey market watches so there are pros and cons to this avenue vs going the AD route which is my preferred way of buying.Any suggestions?
I was reading another forum blog the other day, and the suggestion was made that one of the ¡°releases¡± at Basel will be a 3235 movement in the Submariner. As a side note, they also predicted that the GMT will get an updated movement from the 3186, a 32.. something. The more I thought about this it does kind of make sense, the 32 series is (suposedly) a substantially superior movement to the 3135 currently in there. And it has been a while (especially with the GMT, the 3185/6 has been used for many years) since we have had a serious movement update. Could Basel 2018 be the year that a lot of the ¡°innards¡± of models are upgraded and not so many external changes? I was also wondering if the 3235 would fit in to a 40MM case, since it is used now in the DJ41(?). Will we see a sweeping upgrade this year of inner workings?
I dusted off the SD and put it on the Everest leather strap with their endlinks. Looks pretty good...for a change from the oyster...Right lug is not scratched; just a reflection...
