Breitling A17380 wrist watches news:
The new Graham London watch boggles the public's imagination with its extraordinary rainbow effect, attainable due to a special treatment. Exclusively created for the brand, this nanometer-scale coating contains a complex composition of layer's oxide, which makes the timekeeper's surface to change colors in reflected light.
hi all, I just bought my first Patek, a new 5712/1A after a very long time on the waitlist...To my surprise, I realised that the watch lost 2 minutes within the first month even if the power reserve was always full. I monitored this this closely and when I kept it on my wrist 24/7, it lost 20 secends in a week. Is this the common loss for a watch without a tourbillon? When I took it to the seller, he said that I should never sleep with it and then explained that I should leave it on my bedside in a certain position (dial facing down) so that the watch gains in the evening what it loses in the day. he said that this is very common and that I should not be worried about it.As I am new to this world, these explanations seem a bit odd to me. He said the alternative is to send it to the PP atelier but it could take a long time for them to look at it.Any views on this pls? Is it better not to sleep with your watch? is the 20 sec per week normal? Many thanks
I've wanted one for a while. In fact when I bought a new rolex a year ago I nearly bought one but I needed an everyday watch for work and I'm afraid rolex have always been my choice for that, I never take them off. However I'd always had datejusts which multi task nicely, but now I have a sub as I can see the hands without my reading glasses. I think the chunkyness of the sub has kept me wanting something rather more elegant and almost a year to the day after buying the sub I bought this.Funnily enough the contrast is so good I can easily tell the time and even the date without glasses. I absolutely love it and would wear it everyday but the case would get damaged at work and I can't get the strap wet.Shame but I suppose it makes the wearing of it all the more special2015-12-23 09.35.11.jpg
Just purchased a Omega Seamaster from eBay, it was described as good condition and some fine scratches on the clasp which would polish out. I have just received the watch but it has a small dent at the 33 min mark on the steel ring it also has a lot of scratches on the band, I can see a few on the glass face as well. Am I been too picky or should I be returning it and getting my money back?-I am here: maps.google/maps?ll=54.676779,-1.773279
I am very close to buying my first AP and I could not be happier. I have decided on the 15400 in white or blue; however, I am trying to justify paying full price for the blue dial with a 5 year boutique warranty vs. getting a nice discount at an AD for the white dial. Can anyone recommend an AD that could help with a discount on the white dial? It is worth noting that my current collection does not include a white or blue dial anymore. Also, this will be a daily wearer. Thank for your thoughts!Ryan
