Ulysse Nardin 263-93-3/MON wrist watches news:
For those of us that love watches, Glash¨¹tte has special meaning. This small town in Germany contains a few of the greatest watch brands currently in operation, brands that seem to achieve horological feats that other brands worldwide can't quite compete with. On one hand, you have a brand like A. Lange & Sohne making some of the most epically complicated, finished and expensive luxury watches, and on the other you have Nomos, who make the most accessibly priced watches with manufacture movements. And while these brands, and one or two others, might get the most attention of those in Glashutte, there are several others there that also go above and beyond to create exceptional timepieces. One brand that we here at worn&wound have always enjoyed, but seems to go under the radar, is Nautische Instrumente M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte¡ more commonly referred to as just M¨¹hle.M¨¹hle has a very long history as a manufacturer and as a family in the region, having been in one form or another for 5 ge
I have to admit that I was a little bit let down that I was so busy this week and missed this:Hamilton Rodney With Box on Ebay$80,?. . .and with the box?>? I hope it was someone here who snagged it! I paid $150 for mine, serviced though, and it had no box! I would have probably sold one of the watches and come out a little ahead (and with a box!)Anyhow, this one came up and I jumped on it:Rodney inner AND outer boxes!Inner AND outer box! Outer box is a little beat up, but definitely workable. Pictures aren't as clear, but for $12 I think I did alright! What do you guys think? Now I just need to find the PERFECT strap for the Rodney. I put a plain black strap on it as soon as I got it (temporarily) but haven't found the right strap for it yet. So let's call this an "incoming PLUS show me your rodney straps" thread!-James
Hi, I joined this forum hoping I could get a few watches identified (sorry if you're seeing this twice- I wasn't sure if this was the same as the other forum I posted in).I've searched the internet looking at thousands of watches trying to figure out what watch this is, but I haven't even been able to figure out who makes it. I really hope that someone here can help me, I'd be forever grateful! Here's a picture:If this one isn't satisfactory- I can try to find something better, but so far I haven't had much luck in that either. Thanks everyone. I'd really like to be able to find this watch for purchase- I love it.
Having the 2254 itch again....Was wondering how many of you are owning such a beauty?Pictures would be nice...
I purchased a 14060 (not a M model) and have been really surprised at the differences between my 14060M and my 16610 LV. The case is thinner - I'd say at least by 1 mm. So it wears very nicely on the wrist. The dial also looks smaller, maybe the bezel is thinner, but it overall looks like a smaller watch at least compared with my 16610. The hands are thinner than my 16610. Anyway, just thought I'd share my observations. I can now see why there are folks that like the older models. I have a feeling this 14060 will get a lot of wrist time.
