Ebel 1215702 wrist watches news:
One thing we have noticed over the years at ABTW is, with watches, nothing is as simple as it may first seem. Take, for example, the humble automatic watch movement that we see in numerous watches today. This could be the reliable ETA 2892 or 2894 that are used by various companies, the Soprod A10 that is seen more frequently nowadays, or an in-house watch movement made by Omega or Rolex. Whatever the watch movement, the automatic rotor and its works is a basic complication that is seen so frequently that it is almost taken for granted. As we know, the benefits of an automatic rotor are constant winding of the mainspring and ¨C thanks to the higher average tension in the mainspring when the watch is being worn ¨C more consistent power through the gear train. This means the watch should keep better time as you avoid the diminished amplitude and associated rate loss as the mainspring winds down. It is also convenient in our hectic lives, when we may forget to wind our watch each morning bef
Here is a piece of innovative watch technology and integration from a brand you probably haven't heard of. That is OK, because Erwin Sattler does not tend to make wrist watches. As a segue into dabbling in this market, they built a steampunk looking device that is very beautiful and functional combining a watch, watch winder, and clock. All in an expensive looking (and costing) crystal and leather case (the crystal case can be lifted electronically). The various elements of the Trilogie set can be traced to Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.Lets start with the watch itself. Using a modified Swiss automatic Valjoux 7750 movement Erwin Sattler creates an attractive regulator with a classic looking, yet high functional look. While the dial may look white, it is actually solid sterling silver. The watch is impressively large at 46mm, which I love because most of the time classically styled watches such as this are 42mm or smaller. I have no doubt that this Erwin Sattler watch will look imp
My mom gave me a ladies10k white gold Hamilton watch with real diamonds to sell. She didn't think it was worth anything but maybe $50. I started trying to see if it was worth anything. Is there a website listing ladies hamiltons. thank you.
So I had to share my excitement with everyone as I just picked up my first Planet Ocean. A 42mm version with the 2500 movement. I luv it. Thought at first it my be too big for my 6 3/4 wrist, but turns out it fits just perfect. It even looks smaller than my 41.5mm Seamaster Chrono. Maybe due to the height difference. Anyhow I'm glad I went with this instead of the Speedmaster I was looking at. I really like the brushed SS bracelet it comes with too. Very cool. Great watch.Happy 4th everyone!
