Hello, Friends- I recently returned from an awesome week in Cancun and wanted to share some pictures. We stayed at the Royal Cancun and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.Having espresso on our balcony the first morning....Checking out the sunrise....The staff brought us cake and champagne....no, not married or even engaged We rented a car and drove out the the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itzait was amazing. Sarah playing amidst the ruins....This is where they allegedly sacrificed the virgins back in the daydoubt they still do that Plates for sale by a local vendor...Stopped by the town of Valladolid on the way back and snapped some shots:School childrenGot a bit thirsty and stopped for some beers in the town of Xcan. Both beers cost only about $1USD and they didn't even card us! Trip to the Omega AD
Well after the visit i made at the breitling AD i decided to go and have a look at the omega AD. Surpsingly the AD had the anniversary edition of the omega speedmaster moonwatch. The watch was at the window display in it's box. The box looked so huge compared to the box of the other speedmaster's. I asked him about the price of the moonwatch omega anniversary edition and he told me that the watch costs 7300 euro. I asked the guy why is it so expensive and he told me that omega has manufactured only 1957 watches and that's why it's so expensive. ( is this true? ) The box of the watch is amazing. It includes a loupe and some sizing equipment. It was one of the best looking watch boxes i ever saw. After that i asked the guy at the shop about the regular speedmasters and He told me that the rest of the speedmasters cost 3200 euro each. I also tried some of them. Until now my favourite omega watch is the omega seamaster Pro and the speedmaster.

Hi fellow Trf-membersA lot of advice, watch-surfing, a little enabling and not a lot of common sense ;-) has finally let me in the direction of my first Patek. Had a trip to Rome, Italy, planed with my two children and by chance I found a mint unworn 5711 blue dial in a shop in Rome I know from before. It's a short flight from Denmark and I go there a couple of times a year to relax, sightsee and enjoy the Roman cuisine ;-)This spring I picked up my first PM watch (116718LN) in Rome so it has been a nice watch-year for me ;-)Tomorrow we are flying to Rome and I'll pickup my new watch in the afternoon if all goes by plan. I have an option on a 5712 but I'm pretty confident that I will be posting pics of a 5711 in the Roman sun tomorrow ;-)Thank for the advice, guidance and not least patience. RegardsAlexander Ps. My wife is a Rolex
I don¡¯t know if I can describe it clear enough, but here it goes.My wife is alot like Rolex...shes been around long enough and I still think shes the hottest brand around. A look that doesn¡¯t go out of style. She knows what I like and I know she can make it happen..like giving me a ¡°ceramic daytona¡± or a ¡°ss ceramic GMT BLRO¡±, which makes my day (and the day after). And I don¡¯t like other brands, i¡¯m the kind of person that sticks to what I like...but all I get is ¡°datejust¡± now and then...and don¡¯t get me wrong, I like datejust (very much), but what¡¯s the big deal? If she knows what I like, & she already bought that crazy looking ¡°blue and red cermaic bezel¡± why doesn¡¯t she put it on? Why the long ¡°waiting list¡±? I can¡¯t help wondering....did I do something wrong and Rolex wants me to think about it?
