- This is a very nice duct. Although the clasp took some getting used to - I think it is a very classy watch. The crystal is very pretty and the face is very easy to see. I am very happy with this purchase.

Cartier W1529756 wrist watches news:
Well I pulled the stem all the way out today when I went to wind my circa 1978 Moon-watch. When I put it back in it just turns the hands - no winding can be done.It was working fine before that and I like it's well used/well loved look. I'd just like to have the stem "reattached" rather than replace all the cool old bits. Any rec's for a good watch repair the greater Phoenix area to do this work? Thanks!John
Been having a really hard time finding this exact model.. From my limited research I am under the assumption that the watch was made between 1939-1951.. The watch needs to be winded and seems to be in good condition.I haven't seen too many that have the 12-2-4-6-8-10-12 numeric setup.. I also don't think the post-1950 models had the numeric 6 blocked by the second mechanism.. Any ideas? Thank you in advance! 2012-01-30.jpgphoto.jpg

I have this watch about a year now and as you can see from the photo's it looks like someone took a chisel to the case to open it. The plating is chipped badly on the back but the front of the case is ok, bar chisel marks from opening. RW's do not have a big following here but I am wondering if it is worth getting sorted. It has an ETA 2892-2 which is understand is fairly popular and I have read on the web of other guys just putting them in different cases. Any ideas, recase or get plating sorted ?
