- This is one of the best ducts that I have purchased. The online picture can't compare to the actual duct. Great look, great weight and superb timepiece.

IWC IW356505 wrist watches news:
I hope it is all right to post a question about an Illinois wristwatch, one made before their purchase by Hamilton. I saw a moderately priced Illinois on the swamp that appealed to me just for its looks. The seller does not exactly say that the watch has been restored, but I assumed it was not entirely original - it looks too nice for that, and the asking price is not high enough for a mint example. What stopped me from bidding was that I finally noticed that the name on the dial was "ILLINIOS". Is this a mistake that Illinois ever actually made, or is it a mark of a complete dial refinishing?.The seller identified the watch as a "Stephen" model. I do not have the Illinois book, and have not been able to confirm this with a quick Google search. Google's spell correcting function actually make it difficult to search for a typographical error as well. This is not a big deal (the seller's opening bid was $99), but I came close to buying it, so I am curious to know. Thanks in advance!
Always keen to increase my knowledge I started a thread on another site ref this Seiko 6105 Divers watch and the amazing prices they fetch.Have spent some time perusing the shopgoodwill site, have mentioned before that this Seattle store seems to pull up some gems.I think that I have tracked maybe a dozen outstanding watches to come out of this store within the past few months.Cannot be a coincidence.shopgoodwill.com - #21467960 - Seiko 6105 8110 Diver¡¯s Automatic Watch RUNS 6364 - 5/13/2015 12:43:59 PMThese Seiko collectors are almost as passionate as the Accutron group.
I have just purchased my 1st ever Rolex a 1986 Datejust from goldsmith when I have picked it up the bracelet is very loose on it the adviser said it's because it's 30 years old but I was wondering how much it would cost for a new bracelet from Rolex or for it it be serviced by Rolex because I have heard they fix the strap up like new, if they are to pricy then I can just take the watch back and look again, thanks I have uploaded a picture from the net it¡¯s not my watch but it¡¯s just like the way the bracelet is hanging, i say mine is more hanging tbh, it won¡¯t let me put my own pictures up sorry
I'm hoping the forum can help me on a choice for a dial change, or alternatively let me know if I should leave it alone.I sent a all black dial Tiger chrono in for a service and at the same time have it refurbished etc.I would like a black dial with white counters. There is no issue with this request, however the caveat is that if I do change it it will not have the word Tiger on the dial, nor numerals. They can get a new dial with Tiger but it will have to be the same dial colour combo. The reason is that the Tiger dials are out of production whereas the normal ones are available (prince date, no Tiger). Markers instead of numerals. What do I do? The market seems to prefer the non Tiger as do I. The paperwork will still remain in tact as it refers to the black dial, but the Tiger box will obviously be off. This watch will remain in the family etc but I don't want to ruin its value.
