Bedat 114.360.300 wrist watches news:
DSC00585.jpgDSC00589.jpgDSC00590.jpgDSC00584.jpgI've been talking about these, but never got a chance to post pictures. I got them this year and have been proud to wear them. Sorry, I don't have that good of a camera. It was this forum that helped me to return a used 16613 with a custom dial that has flaws in it. I decided to purchase a brand new 116613 instead. I want to thank everyone in this forum that helped to find the imperfections.
In a nutshell the B01 is the amalgamation of Breitling flagship model, the Chronomat Evo, and their new in-house movement, the Calibre 01.I¡¯ve already presented literary material on the incredible new Calibre 01 movement that Breitling introduced to considerable global acclaim in 2009. I will not venture into the interesting and genre defining details of this movement within this review and, instead, I will simply point you towards some further reading in the form of previous article I have written on this extraordinary technical marvel.Breitling Calibre 01 ¨C A History | Andrew Michaels Jewellersand a few bullet points of this fabulous and well thought-out movement:?COSC certified?70 hour power reserve?Vertical Coupling Clutch for the Chronograph?Instant date change that can be altered at any time?Modular design facilitates quick servicingPlease also find a link below to the all new in-house GMT model:Breitling B04 GMT ¨C A review | Andrew Michaels JewellersFor some reason, of which I a
I suppose there is nothing worse than unpacking your new arrival and finding out that it is not the watch you paid for. This one arrived today, it was to be number 3 to add to my little Certina fetish. This one is nos and meaures about 28mm square but the watch advertised had much larger dimensions and a different serial number, so I am not sure if this was part of a ladies/gents pair. I am waiting on a response from the seller, were watches still being sold in 28mm size for men in the early 70's?. The lovely orange glow on the pics is from the light that is on the wall above my pc, must hit it with a hammer some day.
Hi everyoneAfter a couple of months agonizing over whether to sell my AP RO 15400 and Daytona, I finally did and got the 5711.It was quite a long search, as no AD I called had them in stock, most had waiting times of up to 6 months and above. In the end I got in touch with a friend of mine who happened to know of someone who had one kept in his safe. After a few days of negotiating I finally got it and I couldn't be happier.Initial impressions:1. The 5711 is so easy on the wrist, compared to the AP 15400. Whereas the 15400 was on the heavy side, the 5711 feels so much lighter in comparison. I was constantly afraid of scratching the AP because it felt heavy on my wrist (of course this does not mean that the 5711 is less scratch prone). The 5711 feels much more ergonomic in this sense.2. The 5711's profile is quite thin, which I like very much. It makes the whole watch look classy.3. The dial is just superb. The blue changes at every angle. I can't quite describe it, but it is
Hi guys,I'm on the waiting list for my first Rolex, the 116500ln with the white dial - still got around 4 months to go. Already got two IWC's but in the past months, Rolex really grabbed my attention after reading into its history, achievements and current manufacturing quality. Anyway, being used to bigger sizes (42-43 mm), I feared the small wearing Daytona (38.6mm) would be too small for me. So I decided to try on a TT at the Rolex boutique as the TT has the same case dimensions as the DaytonaC. They had the TT with the champagne dial which at first looked a bit girly to me. But as soon as I had it on my wrist, I somehow really liked the way it looked - size AND color combination! So now I'm debating between getting the DaytonaC or the TT.. Best would be to get both :)
