Bedat 827.041.909 wrist watches news:
Here's the latest on my SMP 2531.80 which has been running fast. The watchmaker at my AD said that there's some spring or something that coiled over or whatever and that was what was causing my watch to run erratic. He overhauled the watch and straightend out whatever the problem was and he also said the rate adjust levers tension was fine, nothing there to fix and that the watch is now keeping to +2 sec per day in all positions. He's keeping it a few more days and wearing it as well and then he's going to double check the accuracy on the winder and set it for 0 seconds +/-. He's done this before and it stayed right on the money for a long time. I explained to him what I do at work and he suspects what I'm doing is too violent and causes the problems I've had with the watch. I'm skeptical but there has been a few times where I've gone to set the watch down on a counter or a table at home and missed it completely and my SMP landed face down on tiled concrete. OUCH! It's not like
I've narrowed it down to these two. I love them both, and hopefully i'll own both sooner or later, but for now i'm finding it impossible to decide between the two. I think the IWC Portuguese will add something different to my collection, as I don't own a long power reserve watch (7 days is nice!). My second pick is a Patek Philippe Calatrava. I think it's just a classic, beautiful watch, and it houses Patek's brilliant 324 movement. If I end up going for the IWC, i'm not sure if I would prefer the red gold, or the SS version. Here is a picture of the SS for reference.I would love to hear any comments any of you have about either of these watches, and especially from anyone who owns either of them. I plan on pulling the trigger within the next few weeks so any input will be greatly appreciated!
Which one is a would be a smarter choice. Just some thoughts. I love them both in and the ap with the blue dial is amazing. Does anyone here owns the FP journ bleu? What is your experience and ownership of the journ.
Early start this morning. Already set my Royal Oak to EST. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1358162516.588287.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
